Natural Cures for Digestive System Disorders

The digestive system is involved in the mechanical and chemical processing of food into smaller components that then get absorbed into the blood stream. Digestion is a form of catabolism that break-down larger food molecules to smaller ones. The human body needs fuel to live which is why we eat.

But ingesting food into the body is only a small part of the process. The food must be broken down into chemicals that the body can use. This whole process is called digestion. Some of the organs involved in digestion are the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, gallbladder, pancreas and liver.
Digestive disorders include nausea, vomiting, and constipation that most people are familiar with. Diarrhea is the abnormal increase in the frequency and consistency of stools. Dyspepsia is characterized by chronic indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux, and nausea. If you feel abdominal discomfort, or have to pass a stool soon after every time you eat, you may be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.

Piles are perhaps the most painful of digestive disorders, and usually signal its presence by the passage of painful and bloody stools. Common digestive disorders are often ignored as they often do not have serious symptoms. However, these disorders can contribute to other health problems of a more serious nature. All bodily ailments are said to find their root in the stomach.
